A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Yr Hen Stabl is a dog friendly, converted farm stable full of character and charm. It is simply furnished with antique Welsh furniture and textiles. The cosy interior with wood burning stove offers a comfortable space in which to relax after long walks in the Brecon Beacons or from which to work remotely. Based near to the waterfalls, the cottage provides easy access to outdoor activities such as wild swimming, gorge walking and hiking. It is also conveniently situated for the Gower coast.

The accommodation is a self contained en-suite accommodation in a quiet semi rural location. It has a large private balcony to the rear of the property which is a perfect sun trap overlooking ancient woodland . With a truly panoramic view out over the Brecon Beacons mountain range the accommodation is central for the whole South Wales region and an ideal base for walking,cycling,golf and mountain climbing .The Gower is an easy drive as is Brecon ,Cardiff and the Bay.There are many local attractions including the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan,Big pit ,Dan yr Ogof caves,Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch and Bike Parc Wales to name just a few.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Afan Forest Park Heather View

This beautifully renovated three-story house offers stunning views of the mountains and the historic old railway bridge Ideal for all leisure based activities. Providing easy access to the network of mountain bike trails, and a short ride to Afan Park visitors centre. The beach is a 45-minute cycle ride, which can be accessed using the cycle path network. Other local leisure opportunities include walking, running, horse riding and fishing. Located 20 minutes from junction 41 of the M4.
