Elgol self catering, Isle of Skye

Comfortable, self contained, private accommodation, attached to a family home in the popular village of Elgol. View of mountains and sea from bedroom. Great base from which to explore Loch Coruisk, the Cuillins or Small Isles via boat trips. Good for birdwatching, wildlife or the Skye trail. Elgol harbour is a short walk down the hill. There is a kitchenette with fridge freezer, hotplate,microwave, toaster and kettle (no oven) in the accommodation. T.V only has Net-flix and DVDs, wi-fi is good.

'Grandview' is a beautiful, traditional, spacious cottage with everything you need for a very memorable holiday. With outstanding views of the Cuillins, Rhum and Canna, there are 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin-bed bedroom, 2 bathrooms and 2 spacious lounge areas, allowing you to spread-out and relax independently! The stove provides a glorious heat, although the cottage also has full electric heating. There are many local walks/climbs and also the famous boat-trips into Coruisk and the Cuillin hills.

Taigh Druim (Ridge House) is peacefully situated in an extraordinary location high above the village of Elgol with dramatic views of the Cuillin mountains and across the bay to the Isles of Soay, Rhum and Eigg. Elgol harbour is a 5 minute walk away and from here boats provide access to Loch Coruisk and the nearby Isles.

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

The Ridge Pod

The Ridge Pod situated in Elgol on the Strathaird peninsula on the Isle of Skye. Featuring uninterrupted views across Loch Scavaig and the Cuillin mountain range. Located in a small and picturesque farming and fishing village on the south of the island. The Ridge Pod is accommodation only and is self-catered. There is a private balcony with outdoor seating and lights. Please note that The Ridge Pod is situated on a working croft. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

An ideal stop over in Elgol for two or more nights to enjoy boat trips, relax and admire the beautiful scenery or on the Skye trail. We have a twin bed room with private shower/toilet. A lovely little Shepherd's Hut situated in the small village of Torrin on the Isle of Skye. Enjoy breathtaking views with you morning coffee or BBQ dinner. The beach is located a short walk from your hut where you will find an array of wildlife including the mighty Golden & Sea Eagle's, otter's and Seal's. Beach, Sea, Mountains and Wildlife what more could you ask for.
