Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Bumble Cottage - Sedbergh (19 miles to Windermere)

Bumble Cottage is a recently renovated semi-detached barn conversion. The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from the main street in Sedbergh village and the Yorkshire Dales Way is right outside the front door. It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type. La'al Yam - a cosy cottage surrounded by gardens

La'al Yam is a delightful cosy cottage with wonderful views and full of charm. It is surrounded by gardens full of wildlife. A place for rest and relaxation, where you can completely unwind. It is the East wing of Hylands, decorated in sympathy with Arts and Crafts principles. Quality finishes and materials throughout, using local suppliers and crafts people. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the 'Rifleman's Arms'.

1 Low Hall Beck Barn

Self contained annex situated on a working Farm in Killington. 10 minute drive from M6 Junction 37. 4.5 miles from Sedbergh and 6.6 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. Both of which have multiple pubs, restaurants and small shops. Perfect location for scenic walks, bike rides and visits to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Parking spaces for two vehicles along with an outside seating area. Self catering fully equipped Kitchen. Double bed with bedding and towels provided. No pets.

The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Howgill Hideaway's Orchard Cabin

Relax and recharge in your own rural spa haven. Our cedar clad cabin has amazing views across open countryside to the front and up onto the impressive Howgill Fells to the rear. Sleeping up to 4, in a king sized bed and double sofa bed, it is the perfect place to explore both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. A covered, double ended outdoor bath and your own private wood fired sauna with outdoor shower add to the spa experience. Firepit, bbq grill and pizza oven included.
