Beth's Bothy is a luxurious Snug with open plan living, kitchen area, en-suite & bedroom with king-size bed. Both rooms open onto a patio with private hot tub & outdoor seating. Enjoy the surroundings, the amazing sunsets & the starry night skies. Set amongst the beautiful Galloway Hills, it is an ideal destination for a weekend retreat or a base to explore the fantastic surroundings such as mountain biking, cycling, walking, beaches, shopping. Guests also have access to a wood fired sauna.

Shore Escape

Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. It is situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and situated on the South Coast 300 route. Shore escape provides the perfect base for a short break, and the perfect base to explore the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. Please note: if guests are using sofa bed please bring own linens. A delightful two bedroom Grade 2 listed cottage built in 1786 for the Gatehouse Cotton Mill workers. The town offers the Mill on the Fleet, a visitor centre in the former bobbin mill, telling the tale of Gatehouse's cotton spinning days. The town has a Spar supermarket, chemist, post office, cafes and pubs. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers, climbers, water sports, fishing & art lovers. Gatehouse of Fleet lies on the Solway Firth, in Dumfries and Galloway, a beautiful area to visit.

The Solway coast is easily accessible by car or bike and has wonderful secret beaches sandy coves to explore.
