Alexandra Cottage is a secret hideaway in the heart of the ancient market town of Penryn, offering a luxury retreat in one of Cornwall's most beautiful and bustling coastal areas. The stone-built, slate-roofed cottage has a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room, and a sumptuously stylish open-plan sitting room/kitchen with a woodburner for cosy nights in after bracing walks on the coastal path. A sunny terrace provides the perfect spot for alfresco dinning with a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. Only 5 minutes drive is the harbour town of Falmouth, with its independent shops and art galleries, beaches and the world-famous National Maritime Museum. It's also within easy reach of the Helford River and its glorious sailing waters, hidden coves and fabulous walking routes. The cottage is tucked in the corner of a large walled garden, across the lawn from a beautiful double-fronted stone house. Alexandra Cottage has its own parking and separate entrance.

The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. The Mowhay is situated on Rockfield. With beautiful views all around, you can really escape. In the middle of the contryside and sea views towards Falmouth. It is situated for travelling around Cornwall and has beautiful walks on your doorstep such as the Old Tram Way. It's an upside down house with two bedrooms, utility and shower room downstairs all opening up to an enclosed patio. An open plan living area upstairs has a second door opening to the hot tub level and has it's own parking.

Quiet walks direct from the door and various beaches are just a 10 - 15 minute car journey - with the famous surfing beach of Porthtowan just 10 minutes away. The cottage is just a short stroll from our good village pub.
