It is a five minute drive from the historic village of Haworth (a very dog friendly place for visitors with furry friends) and is a perfect location for visiting the Brontë parsonage where the Brontë sisters lived and the moors which inspired their writing, the Yorkshire Dales, Ilkley and Saltaire.

Embsay is a quiet village with Bolton Abbey, The Tithe Barn, and Grassington; famous for All Creatures Great and Small, all within easy reach. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs and a steam railway station. Shay Bank Cottage is nestled amongst the famous Pennine Way and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside, with the market town of Skipton "Happiest & most liveable place in England", Grassington (All creatures great and small), Haworth (Bronte sisters) Bolton Abbey and Ilkley all just a short drive away.. The Lake District is within a hours drive. Free safe parking directly outside the cottage with field views surrounding the property, greeting you with peace and tranquility.

Located in Silsden (NOT BRUNTHWAITE), on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, this 19th century stone cottage is refurbished to highlight the original beams, stone walls and stone fireplace with a solid fuel stove for cosy nights. Two king-size beds and a full 4 piece bathroom with double ended slipper bath and large standalone shower adds a touch of luxury and relaxation. Ideal for walks and excursions through the picturesque local landscape.
