Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. The Hut is equipped with everything needed to ensure an amazing, memorable stay in luxurious accommodation with heating, comfy sofa, fire and TV. There is an additional outside seating area, please ask in advance if the BBQ is required. There is Tea, Coffee, Sugar and Milk provided in the Shepherds Hut. Sorry, no children.
