The Annex at Orchard House

Whether you're looking for a comfortable and functional space for a business trip, or a place for you and the family for a few days, our bright, homely annex at the bottom of the garden, will provide you with everything you need for the perfect stay!. Located in the village of Barton Le Clay which has some beautiful places for walks and hikes, Cainhoe Wood Golf Club is nearby, as well as being close to Milton Keynes, Bedford, and Luton Airport. At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of four people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and a large flat screen Smart TV. We currently have four lodges available on the site (sleeping 16 in total).

Walk along the many footpaths or play golf at one of three nearby courses.

Beautiful Grade 2 Stable Barn

A beautifully refurbished, stunning ground floor apartment in the converted stable block of a Grade 2 listed property. This charming and spacious residence is located on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Saffron Walden, 5 minutes from Audley End station and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport or Cambridge and Racing at Newmarket. This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to very steep duckstairs or for senior guests.

The White Cottage Romantic Riverside Retreat

Grade 2 listed Tudor cottage with amazing inglenook fireplace. Large riverside garden (previously featured in the NGS) plus use of a hot tub, for an additional charge, in grounds. Ideal for longer stays with excellent commuter links for London, Harpenden, St Albans and Stevenage. Relax and enjoy footpath walks, including the Ayot Green Way, to gastro pubs. Adjoining, yet separate to the main house, the Pavilion is so-called as the garden was once the village bowling green. Delightful views of National Trust Tudor dovecote and stables. A perfect base for riverside walks, cycling and water sports. Mainline train stations Bedford and Sandy are 15 minutes drive away.

Riverside Retreat

Nearly a century old, children call it “The Witches House” and we haven't changed it's magic. A mezzanine provides the main bedroom, a little window overlooks the lawns. Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.

Enjoy your stay in the newly converted Ugley Coachhouse. The house is on a very quiet lane and is perfect for a relaxing break in the countryside. The village of Stansted and the small town of Saffron Walden are a short drive away as is Bishop's Stortford and Stansted Airport. Perfect for day trips to Cambridge or London. Family and pet friendly.
