“Serenity on Sibley” Guesthouse~Close to Downtown

Down the winding road, at the bottom of the wooded hill, “Serenity” awaits. This single-room guesthouse sits on the banks of Sibley Lake. Relax and take in the sunsets from the screened porch. Located adjacent to the campus of University of Louisiana at Monroe & just down the driveway from our beautiful dock. It has one KING bed and one SINGLE bed/couch.

Come enjoy a peaceful getaway on Caney Lake. Our guesthouse is an updated mobile home that is right behind our main house. While the mobile home is not waterfront, we love for our guests to enjoy our floating boathouse and our yard (that is waterfront) with lounge chairs, hammock and a fire pit. Feel free to cast a line! The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
