You can relax by the lake and watch the wildlife or just enjoy the views from the built-in sunroom. This lake cabin is also located near the wine trails and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the lake amenities, hunting, fishing, zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature at its finest. Crouse’s North Ninety Lake House

If you want a place where you can be socially distanced, this is the place! (discounts for weekly or monthly stays.) The cabin is set in a 90 acre area surrounded by woods with two small lakes (fishing, walking trails and paddle boating available at no extra charge). There is only one other cabin on the 90 acres. Nearest town, Dixon (3 miles), Madisonville (20 miles, Henderson 21 miles), Evansville, IN (has a regional airport about 35 miles). Truly a relaxing getaway place.

Our local area has many hiking opportunities to explore, the Southern Illinois Wine Trail surrounds us, and the back roads have country views that are breathtaking. Our cabin will be waiting for your arrival or return, well equipped with a 55" TV above the gas fireplace, a comfortable King size bed, and an amazing back porch with a Weber Grill and huge hot tub.

Bald Knob Cabin

Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass.
