Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

We’re on Cycle Route 72, Pennine Way, a pub 2 mins walk, museums and cafe on your doorstep.

South facing rustic stone built barn conversion for 4 people close to Acomb village within the Dark Sky National Park. A private garden from which to enjoy stunning views and stargaze. Hadrian's Wall, Hexham market town, country walks, cycle routes and village pubs all a stones throw from the doorstep. The Michelin Star restaurant,Pines is 10 mins away. We have further accommodation for 2 adults in a separate building, you will need to contact me directly to book this further accommodation.

Hot tub is £80 payable on arrival. Our luxury glamping pods are home from home with all cooking facilities, Fully fitted en suite, Double bed and sofa bed. We supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. We supply a continental breakfast. A full English breakfast could be supplied in you require. Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too. Small airfryer, small freezer and fridge.

A unique rural cottage in the heart of Northumbria, High Crook Cottage is an idyllic property on its own but close to Hadrians Wall and Allen Banks. Perfect for walking or cycling holidays or just for people who want to relax in and explore the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and its rich heritage. Recently converted it is modern, comfortable and accessible whilst still retaining its original charm of a cowshed!

Believed to have been constructed in the latter half of the 16th Century, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth 1 and the time of the Spanish Armada, Bastle House is a Grade II Listed Building. Built as a stonghouse to protect against raids by Border Reivers, the property has been lovingly renovated into a unique and cosy one-bedroom bolthole.
