Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage

Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

Cosy Purbeck Cottage on the Jurassic Coast

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

The chalet has a large decking overlooking the sea, it’s a total escape…..it has 1 King Double bedroom with en-suite, & 1 twin, 2 shower rooms & fully fitted modern kitchen/living area which opens onto the large decking area and panoramic views of the sea… to the left is Lulworth Cove, to the right the Isle of Portland, amazing sunrises and sunsets!

The Yurt has been specially designed by a local Yurt maker and is made of highest quality materials. Light, spacious and airy with a domed roof allowing natural light in and positioned in a cool area of this beautiful farm surrounded by animals and nature. Guests can order a Full English breakfast and have it delivered unlimited fresh coffee/tea pot at an additional cost of £15.00 pp

The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

The Cottage is an open plan building next to the entrance to Corfe Common in a tranquil setting. Downstairs there is a King-size bed & upstairs there are 2 single beds . Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. This hut is called Primrose. King size bed with 100% cotton linen, with a choice of pillows. Kitchen with a microwave/grill, small fridge and hob. Underfloor heating. Full size shower and toilet within the hut. Outside shelter for washing dogs/boots and facilities for bike washing on site. Private parking and enclosed garden with out door seating. Welcome pack provided. Famous Jurassic Coast Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are close.

A fully self contained hut including a double bed, kitchen with multi cooker, wood burner and en-suite bathroom including hot shower and state of the art composting toilet. Small enclosed garden; dog friendly.
