This charming 18th-century converted stable located within the Lake District National Park in the peaceful village of Uldale. Full of original character features with all modern comforts. On the ground floor you'll find a cosy living room with a wood burner & a spacious well-equipped kitchen/diner. Upstairs to two characterful bedrooms, a large, bright king-size (with Emma mattress) a charming twin, along with the family shower room. Outside there is a seating area with BBQ and a shed for bikes.

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
