Relax in a beautiful, detached, cosy stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley where nature is thriving. Rustic & comfortable . The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are dog friendly and are happy to welcome up to two well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle & explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's & is a traditional, stone cottage.

Gwarcwm Farm Crog Loft Hot Tub and Riverside Sauna

A crogloft is a traditional Welsh mezzanine, tucked away in the eves. Somewhere to quiet retreat to. Gwarcwm's Crog Loft is at the heart of the home, an old farmhouse beautifully restored. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The house is attached to a small field that slopes steeply down to a river at the bottom. We've recently finished building a sauna next to the river and installed a wood-burning hot tub, making this a perfect place to wind down when the day's adventuring is done.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft is a beautifully decorated 19th century stone barn. Recently refurbished, this creative, dog friendly space is just a mile away from the renowned surfing beach of Llangennith and closer still to the well known pub -The kings Head. This delightful, semi-detached converted Victorian barn sits idyllically within 30 acres of lovely countryside on the boarder of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Only 5 minutes drive from the A40 and 2.5 miles from Whitland town which has a train station, pubs, cafes, butchers, greengrocers, launderette, Chinese takeaway and Co-op. Centrally situated to explore Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion and all the beautiful beaches West Wales has to offer.

Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and writing shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood". Ideally located to explore the Coastal Path for stunning scenic walks, and close to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth & further a field St David's, Pembroke, the West Coast.
