The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

With a rich culinary heritage, some of the finest chefs in the country are within a few miles, from Paul Ainsworth, Adam Handling & Nathan Outlaw to wonderful ‘pop up’ street food, so every taste and budget is catered for.

The Piggery is a lovely, cosy holiday cottage which is equipped to a high standard. There is adjacent parking and a private seating area outside. Free WiFi is available as well as Freeview TV. The location is peaceful and rural with the added bonus of easy access to the North and South coast, the A30 just 2 miles away. Visitor attractions in the local area includeThe Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, Bodmin Jail and the Port of Charlestown. A maximum of two small dogs are welcome free of charge.

"The Hideaway" is a newly renovated 1 bedroom flat in the village of Fraddon in mid Cornwall, 5 mins from the main trunk road (A30), Fraddon is surrounded by the towns of Newquay, St Austell, Bodmin and the city of Truro, locally there is a good pub in walking distance, there are many takeaways within walking distance, a retail park is a 5 minute drive away where there is a Pub/Mcdonalds, M&S and more, close by is a lovely nature trail locally across the moors if you like a good walk or cycle.

Our 300 year old grade II listed Mill is set in a peaceful wooded valley location and retains many of its original features. Little Forge is a one bedroom stone annexe attached to our home. It's in a peaceful rural location. There is a courtyard garden, gated parking (shared with us), king size bed, roll top bath, shower and fully equipped kitchen. It’s a 10 min drive to gorgeous Mawgan Porth beach, pub and shops, 15 min drive to Padstow. Please note you will need a car: shops, beaches, etc are not within walking distance. The property is not step free externally or internally. We are happy to accept one dog.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
