Bridle paths lead from the property directly onto the moor. The friendly moorland Village of Sticklepath is a short walk away with its two pubs, Village Shop and National Trust's Finch Foundry. Only 2mins off the A30, a pet friendly, family friendly stay in a central Devon location, a perfect base for exploring.

Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Little Gables - Unique retreat on edge of Dartmoor

Little Gables is located just outside the idyllic village of Dunsford on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. An architect designed self catered guesthouse with boutique cabin style accommodation for two. The modern rustic interior is designed for a luxurious and comfortable stay consisting of a spacious open plan kitchen and living area with vaulted ceiling, bathroom with walk in shower and a built in emperor sized bed (2m x 2m) in the bedroom area with a bath (with a view) in the room.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign

The Stables at Ramsley Farm, Cosy Retreat

The Stables at Ramsley Farm sits up at Ramsley Common (a former Copper Mine) and enjoys incredible far reaching views of Dartmoor & Exmoor. Stroll onto Dartmoor from our doorstep or in a few minutes walk, enjoy the warm local village communities and amenities (inc. numerous pubs!) We’re a walkers paradise and welcome dogs. Contact us if you want to bring horses. The Stables has recently been renovated. It’s a stylish, unique property echoing the character of the Farmhouse.

Pineapple Cottage - Sweet little house in Chagford

Pineapple is a lovely period cottage, steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historical small town in Dartmoor National Park. Front door opens into hall. Comfortable sitting/dining room, two beautiful bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with roll-top bath, shower over. Several levels connected by small staircases. English country garden accessed via shared path. (see picture). Off-road parking in space suitable for small to medium sized vehicles.

The Coach House - Cosy cottage in a beautiful area

Escape to The Coach House, our picturesque and cosy cottage. Within moments you can be walking alongside the River Taw then out onto Dartmoor's wild moorlands. Alternatively, head to the coast for stunning beaches, or visit our welcoming village pubs, a short walk away. At home, relax in front of the roaring open fire, or enjoy the sun in our walled garden. Cook a feast on the range cooker in our well-equipped kitchen and sleep peacefully in our comfortable bedrooms.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.
