Very rural…This country hideaway is nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, 1 minute from I-25 in the village of Rowe. It sits on a 40 acre private ranch. Santa Fe is 25 minutes away with nearby access to many US Forest areas, the Pecos National Monument, the Village of Pecos, and the Pecos River. The water is chemical free! The large acreage here is also used for tent camping in the summer months near the little lake and RV Sites are scattered with one being beside this house.

Welcome to Aug’s Cabin! Enjoy the simplicity of a homey cabin with modern finishes and rustic charm just outside Las Vegas, NM and an hour from Santa Fe. Owner renovated two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, on a couple acres tucked beautifully behind pine trees for privacy. A quick drive to Las Vegas can lead you to the famous Plaza Hotel or the newly renovated Castaneda Hotel. Find yourself downtown to indulge in New Mexican food and grab a drink at one of many unique bars in town.

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)
