Alexandra Cottage is a secret hideaway in the heart of the ancient market town of Penryn, offering a luxury retreat in one of Cornwall's most beautiful and bustling coastal areas. The stone-built, slate-roofed cottage has a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room, and a sumptuously stylish open-plan sitting room/kitchen with a woodburner for cosy nights in after bracing walks on the coastal path. A sunny terrace provides the perfect spot for alfresco dinning with a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. Only 5 minutes drive is the harbour town of Falmouth, with its independent shops and art galleries, beaches and the world-famous National Maritime Museum. It's also within easy reach of the Helford River and its glorious sailing waters, hidden coves and fabulous walking routes. The cottage is tucked in the corner of a large walled garden, across the lawn from a beautiful double-fronted stone house. Alexandra Cottage has its own parking and separate entrance.

The village has 2 fantastic pubs, a cafe all boasting spectacular views across the River Fal, a very well stocked local shop selling fresh local produce, a passenger ferry from Flushing to Falmouth a great service for tourists wanting to get around without using a car. The village also has a fantastic dog friendly beach, beautiful coastal walks & a kids Park.
