Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

Formerly-established ryokan has been reborn as share house and guesthouse with shared atelier. ※ There are no washbasins in the rooms of the Alps, so the facilities are somewhat inferior to the rooms that are listed elsewhere, so it is set as cheap price. Because shared part is substantial, it is recommended for long stay. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. Please enjoy the city of Nakagomi after check-in.
