Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Demeter Cottage

Demeter Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage located in White Horse Yard, behind the cobbled streets in the heart of the old town. Its just a stone's throw from the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants/bars, but tucked away for peace and quiet. Sleeping up to 4 guests, featuring a kitchen and cosy living area with fire; together with a private outdoor space to catch the afternoon sun. Access is via a few flights of steps, so may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulty.

This newly refurbished Victorian town house is only a 5 min stroll to the harbour cafes bars & restaurants. Can sleep 8, Room 1 King size bed, Room 2 double bed , Room 3 two single beds and Room 4 has a double sofa bed (ground floor), this room doubles up as a second living room when the sofa bed is not required. 2 bathrooms, one on ground floor The newly fitted kitchen and dining room are on the lower ground floor. Travel cot & high chair provided Free WI-FI throughout the property.

This modern nautical themed ground floor apartment (accessed up 6 steps front and rear) is a short stroll to the beach, pubs and bustling town centre but ideally situated on the West Cliff to enjoy the quieter part of town. Spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa-bed and fabulous views of the Abbey, one separate double bedroom and large separate walk-in shower room. Parking space onsite or car park 1 minute away. Shared use of the front patio to enjoy the views. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

With stunning views of St Mary’s Church and Whitby Abbey, Fletchers Rest is the perfect coastal retreat to enjoy the beautiful seaside town that is Whitby. Mariner's Moon is just a five minute walk from the centre of Whitby and the railway station, and around a 10-15 minute stroll away from the 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey. The house has very recently been renovated to a high standard and is designed to allow guests a very comfortable stay. Mariner's Moon has three beautiful bedrooms, one large well appointed bathroom, two toilets, utility room, a gorgeous kitchen/diner and comfortable living room. There is free on street parking.
