Located between Osaka and Nara, just a 2-min walk from JR Kashiwara and 4-min from Kintetsu Katashimo. Both JR and Kintetsu lines offer easy access: about 15 min to Tennoji, 30 min to Namba/Nara, 40 min to Umeda, and 70 min to Kyoto. Close to the house, there are supermarkets, convenience stores, a pharmacy, and more—including a riverside walking trail that’s perfect for a morning stroll. The entire house is for private use, ideal for solo travelers, families, or friends to relax and enjoy.

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is a guesthouse which renovated an old Japanese house. It is located in the suburbs of Osaka. It takes you 20 minutes from the centre of Osaka by train. It is very convenient to get to Osaka and Nara. As there are plenty of ruins and old houses nearby, we recommend cycling to see them. Of course, you can borrow a bicycle. Within walking distance there are wineries and traditional houses so you can enjoy town walking.

We renovated a house in downtown Osaka. This is a Japanese house with a nostalgic feel. The location is 15 minutes by train to Namba, the downtown area of Osaka, and 40 minutes to Osaka Station, making it an area with good access to the center of Osaka. The surrounding area is a quiet residential area. There are many supermarkets and 24-hour convenience stores within walking distance. Recommended for those who want to experience the life of an old Japanese private house.

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on dates listed in the house rules and Sundays. (Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

Our room is located in Yao Osaka prefecture. It's a quite and safe place where there are lots of families in the neighborhood. It's between Kintetsu-Yao and Kawachi-Yamamoto station. It takes about 15minutes on foot from both of the stations. There are lots of restaurants and shopping malls near the station. Our room is modern Japanese style, and Host lives next door. Please don't hesitate to ask us anytime.
