Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

A perfect 'tiny home' for visitors wanting a city break or a country escape or a blend of both. Use this haven as a base to see the sites, sounds and sports activities offered in the city of Bristol. Adventure on foot for gorgeous walks or cycle along the great network of cycle paths. Day drives to Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, and surrounds are within easy reach. For those commuters who need access to Bristol International Airport, we are a stone's throw away (by bus or Uber).

Walks to fashionable Clifton Village, Brunel's iconic bridge, Botanic Gardens and nature reserve. Easy access to M5, M4, A48

The Garden Room

In Backwell, a 20-min drive from Bristol Airport, relax in the quiet garden room, a contemporary self-contained double bedroom with an ensuite wet room. Arrive to chocolate and a glass of wine, maybe on the terrace. There's juice, fruit and a cereal bar as well as tea or Dolce Gusto hot chocolate, cappucino or Americano. Please let me know of any allergies or intolerances. The Rising Sun is a short walk away and provides great food and drinks all day. Heaven Coffee House is very near too.

LUXURY MODERN STUDIO: Spacious studio with free secure parking. Newly built, Wi-Fi, fully heated and insulated for all year round use. The studio is set within walking distance of Ashton Court Estate, and a short drive from Clifton Village and Central Bristol. Additional double bed available for an extra 2 guests; £60 fee per night, charged on arrival. Please specify this to the host, at the time of booking. NOTE: this studio is a separate dwelling within the grounds of main family home.

There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Located in a beautiful rural hamlet on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment this district is designated an AONB. Our newly converted cottage backs onto a small stable yard, is located up a private drive in a spot that is hard to beat for peace and quiet. Views from the garden across open farmland enjoy spectacular sunsets. Fully equipped kitchen, large sitting room, pretty bedroom and spacious shower room. Lovely rural walks and stunning bike rides straight from the front door.

Beautiful self-contained lodge in quiet village

The guest house is self-contained, with parking and a private courtyard. The wooden clad lodge makes the perfect get-away with its beautifully decorated interiors. The lodge has a kitchen, breakfast bar for dining, lounge, bathroom & one bedroom with a double bed. Set in the historic village of Saltford, it’s within walking distance of Saltford Golf Club and is the perfect base for exploring the heritage city of Bath (10min drive) and the bustling city of Bristol (20min drive).

This light contemporary space is 25-minutes’ walk from the centre of Bath or a 20-minute walk to the Royal Crescent. This nicely proportioned annexe is next to our home but completely detached. It is a self-contained unit with its own entrance, off-street parking, and south facing garden views and private deck.
