The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Shepherds Hut on our farm, close to Alton Towers

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.

Butterley Bank Farm - Swift Cottage

Swift Cottage is a barn conversion attached to our family home. Converted in 2021 and located on a small holding with horses, dogs and cats. A rural retreat with lovely countryside and amazing views. We are situated near to the Peak District, on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire boarder. Near to Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Alton Towers and in easy reach of Chatsworth and Dovedale. The area offers a wide range of places to visit and things to do.

The Stables - one of a pair of self contained self catering cottages within a converted barn. They can be rented individually or together so are an ideal central location in UK for family get-togethers & exploring. Peaceful rural setting, but with easy access to Alton Towers and the Peak District . They have been assessed by Visit Britain as 4 star accommodation.
