Set in the picturesque village of Litton, and the Peak District National Park. The Red Lion pub is a short stroll away, as is the community village shop. Tideswell 0.6 miles away has many eateries. Beautiful walks & cycling await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

Valentine Cottage, situated in a tranquil area of old Tideswell, has delightful views to fall in love with. The generous gardens to three sides are south-west facing and can be bathed in glorious sunshine all day long. This cosy 180 year old stone built character cottage has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard with a traditional look, but with excellent modern conveniences and accessories. Located on the edge of the beautiful Peak District village of Litton, Meadow View Heights is a recently refurbished one bedroom annexe, ideal for walkers & cyclists to explore the many paths straight from the door. The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Castleton, Chatsworth, Bakewell & Buxton are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

Dog friendly Self-contained Base in Peak District

This quirky downstairs flat, is a fabulous base deep in the Peak District, only 500m from the Monsal Trail. There's a communal outside decked area along side the river. With a double bed and single top bunk in the same room (+small sofa bed in the lounge). There is a bus stop 50m away, The Anglers Rest a riverside pub with great food is 500m downstream. Bring your bike/s into the flat or lock them in the communal space. There is parking onsite for one car next to the building- marked BOB.

Tucked away in a peaceful location above the lovely village of Tideswell, West View Cottage is the perfect base to relax and explore the beautiful Peak District. Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.

The Folly is a sympathetically converted one bedroomed barn, attached to the main farmhouse. It has been furnished to a high standard and sleeps 2. It is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Peak District, with walks and rides from the doorstep. We are situated in the country village of Wormhill, Derbyshire, deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Closest towns are Tideswell and Buxton. We are very close to the Pennine Bridleway, Monsal Trail and Limestone Way.
