Newport Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches is fast becoming an exclusive holiday destination for Australian and International holiday-makers alike. Not only is it famous for its many popular surfing breaks including Newport Peak and reef, it is also ideal for swimming, being patrolled by lifeguards over the summer months from October through to April. The beach is less than 5 minutes down one end of the road and should you chose to explore the other end of the road, you'll find the historic Bungan Castle, built in 1919.
