The safety and well being of our guests is paramount so we have competed a Clinical Safety Course to ensure we maintain the highest standards of cleanness and we operate a self service check-in. Oakley’s Retreat has been carefully renovated and has been furnished to a superb spec, small and perfectly formed including: an open plan lounge and kitchen with dining table; luxurious bedroom with king size bed, beautiful and spacious bathroom featuring double slipper roll top bath and double shower.

Countryside cottage -approx 10min from Wrexham. Ideally situated to explore North Wales -2 National Trust Properties on doorstep (Chirk Castle & Erddig Hall) The small town of Llangollen and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Potcysyllte Aqueduct only 20min by car. From this cottage you can relax and explore the North Wales Coast and Snowdonia, as well as take the opportunity to visit Liverpool and Manchester. More locally is a Farm Shop and The Plassey with boutique shops and a 9 hole golf course.

Situated a stone's throw from one of the most picturesque racecourses in the country, The Nook is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring. Furnished with all home comforts and your own private garden, you can simply savour the peace, or venture out to nearby Whitchurch or Chester for a spot of sightseeing and lunch. Alternatively why not take a walk to spot some wildlife along the River Dee. A welcome hamper is included and we're just next door if you need anything.

Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Luxury Renovated Barn Conversion

Relax in this calm, stylish space. Sitting beautifully in its picturesque setting, in the grounds of the Old Rectory (occupied by your hosts). A handsome 3 bedroom barn, renovated to the highest standards, a comfortable home for 5 guests and up to two well behaved dogs. Located in a peaceful rural hamlet, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, with country walks and cycles on your doorstep. Only a 20 minute drive from Chester and easily accessible for Manchester and Liverpool.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Jemima’s cottage, cosy and comfortable!

Cosy cottage adjacent to the owners listed property, situated in a small hamlet.Jemima’s has views of the surrounding countryside and a small private garden with garden furniture ,ample parking and WiFi.There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms the main bedroom also has shower and wc . There is a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable living room. Shrewsbury is a 20 mins drive away . There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage but guests are welcome to use ours if they need to.

Hope Cottage is a superb, newly renovated, self-contained, sandstone cottage with off-road parking, garden and fabulous views across the Sandstone Trail. With a strong french influence this 1-bedroomed property is an ideal getaway for a romantic break and an excellent base to explore Cheshire, North Wales and the beautiful local countryside. Located beneath Bickerton Hill, Hope Cottage is set in a small rural village. The cottage is NOT suitable for children.

Fab pubs/walking on the Sandstone Trail from the doorstep. Big news! It’s now possible to book Uber to and from Bulkeley, so much easier access than ever before.

With walks from your doorstep you can discover the natural beauty of the area or take time out on the patio and drink in the views over the lake to the Long Mynd beyond. Meet the friendly alpacas on site and of an evening cosy up together with a warm fire watching the moon and stars rise. Visit historic castles, country houses, magical stone circles and ancient monuments.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.
