We had the most wonderful stay at Ant and Melissa's place in the heart of the Grampians. Ant was absolutely lovely; warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about the land and surrounding area. The homemade jam and chutney we were gifted were fantastic!

The Shack was beautiful: peaceful, quiet, with breathtaking views of the Grampians + surrounds. We woke up to wild kangaroos and deer grazing just outside, which truly made it feel like we were immersed in nature. And yet the location was fantastic: completely private and tranquil, but still only a short drive into town centre so we had the best of both worlds.

We were able to make the most of the weekend with hikes and nature outings: we found our way to Mackenzie Falls, Clematis Falls, Boronia Peak, Halls Gap Zoo. Each one was fantastic in its own way, and staying here made it easy to fit them all in without being rushed.

Ant & Melissa’s handcrafted shack was exactly what we were looking for. It gave us the time to reconnect with each other and with nature. To wake up to beautiful surroundings and taking the time to notice different wildlife passing by, then sleeping with a view of the stars above was an absolute dream. The outdoor bath was a great experience. Ant was incredible in showing us around the farm and graciously gifting us a box of their organic produce.

Ant was very friendly and happy to have a chat about their farm and produce and their way of life, it was a great pleasure to be able to experience this and too also take some lovely and yummy vegetables home.
We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to reconnect with nature and experience peace and tranquility!

Ant & Melissa's space is a really special spot in Gariwerd. The home and surroundings will put you right at peace. Super easy to find and get around. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
