Had a great time visiting Villa El Salvador and meeting the locals at the market and soup kitchen and hearing their stories. Maverick was a great guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. It was nice to get out of the Barranco/Miraflores bubble and see how the rest of the city lives, which was very eye-opening. Highly recommend!
