Lurelle’s place was very warm and welcoming. This wasn’t first time staying in an AirBNB and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Every amenity was taken care of and everyone was so nice! I stayed for an entire month so there were a lot of things about home that I missed but I was really able to settle in and the space was very comfortable. And Poe was such a sweet pup too! Staying here truly makes me want to move to Portland! Thank you!

Excellent location, a block away from food, necessities, entertainment, luxuries.
Lurelle and his home were both nice, and inviting. Basement has a lot of room, but seemed mostly unfurnished other than the beds. Was a great price for the location and amount of space. My roommate and I were even offered to move upstairs if we liked, but we were already settled in the basement. I believe Lurelle is doing more renovations to the basement in the near future.

It’s very nice location, close to 23rd street which has so many restaurants and shops. Lurelle is very kind and his dog is super friendly. :)
The room was not very fancy but good enough to stay for a short time. There is no air conditioner in the room so may be a bit cold in winter. There are some other people living in the house. They are not noisy but you have to be considerate to them during your stay.

Great location in Portland. Tons of restaurants, shops, and coffee houses within a 20 min walk. My favorite was the coffee...about 5 different shops close by.
Downtown is a little further(maybe like 40 min walk?), but I kinda liked being on the outskirts of downtown, but I'm a quiet person.
Lurelle is a great host, he always was telling me about different weekend/weeknight events going on, and knows the area really well. Fun person to talk to when you're at the house. The other 4 folks living in the house are super awesome also. I only really saw the others for a brief bit at night(they all work), but they'd always take a few mins to ask how my stay was going and listen to me ramble. Plus there's Poe the dog and his little green ball; super friendly pooch <3
The only potential downside I can think of is the age of the house. It's old and comes with old-house charm (creaky, hot/cold spots, etc). I didn't care, I actually really like old houses, but they aren't always for everyone.
