Ella was a very kind and considerate host, I believe she is a lovely lady. The reason for my review however is that there were a few things that I think maybe could have been better...

In order to access your room you need to walk through a section of the main house, and unfortunately we could hardly bear the smell of all the cats living in the house. I am no stranger to cats, but there are seven of them here and you would think there were 30 based on the smell. They were very nice cats, none of them were mean or aggressive, it's just the smell was quite terrible.

The actual room was fine, it was as advertised and the cats aren't allowed in there so it didn't really smell. The bathroom available to us was also fine but there is only a bath (as advertised) and I noticed two active spiderwebs and some cat hair in the tub.

On paper I feel that this is listed at a fair price but with the condition of the house and lack of a shower and air conditioning I would probably not stay again.

Ella has a heart of gold ✨ I really enjoyed her company, hospitality, cat friends and movie collection. She went above and beyond and I would love to stay with her again.

Super cute little house with a very comfortable bed and Ella was super friendly. Lots of cats but they weren't a problem, some of them were very sweet and the rest just minded their own business.

Ella is a perfect Airbnb Host! Lovely renovated cottage, with charm, clean and has everything you need for a lovely country stay.
