Beautiful place, excellent host, great location

We had a great week in Lucca. The apartment is very spacious and has everything one could need. The train station and the gates of the old town are round the corner. Margherita picked us up on the way from the station and made sure we instantly felt at home. A big thanks to her as well, she's a wonderful host.

suchst du eine ansprechende Wohnung außerhalb der Stadtmauern von Lucca? Dann kann ich dir die Wohnung von Giuseppe sehr empfehlen. Vom ersten bis zum letzten Kontakt war er uns da. Die grosse Wohnung entsprach genau den Bildern. Innert 5 Minuten ist man am Bahnhof, wo man in 30Min in Pisa ist. Lucca's Stadtmauer ist 10Min von der Wohnung gut zu erreichen.
Wir als Familie mit zwei Kindern können die Wohnung von Giuseppe sehr empfehlen...vorallem der feine selbergemachte Kuchen macht den Halt genussvoll.

Margarita and Giuseppe’s home is beautiful. Every attention to detail has been made. Beautiful bed linen, lovely and clean and welcoming. Communication was great with Margarita meeting us half way from the train station.
It was a lovely surprise to be welcomed with cold drinks in the fridge and a delicious home made apricot tart.
Beds, living area and private resting areas were terrific.
We cooked a couple of simple meals and found everything we needed.
The location is great and easy to get around by train and walk to the old town.
Only slight concern we had was walking around the train station, particularly after dark. We found it a bit intimidating as there were a lot of people loitering and hanging around.
All in all the stay was really comfortable and Margarita was a great host.
PS There is an amazing aquaduct just outside the back of the building. Make sure you check it out.
