Fantastic place to start your tour of Astoria history. Purchase your ticket first in the museum & watch the film which explains the fmaily history. Then walk to the main hours for a self-guided tour.

The Flavel House Museum is worth a trip; the restored Victorian house is a highlight of Astoria's settler history. (pro-tip: avoid the much-hyped but disappointing "Oregon Film Museum." It's not worth the entrance fee, but you can watch the Goonies and Kindergarten Cop from our DVD collection!)
