Costing a mere $7 for a carload, this convenient way to get back and forth from Southport to historic Fort Fisher, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, and Kure and Carolina Beaches is not only cost-effective, it's a fun and scenic ride.

Fort Fisher Ferry located south of the Aquarium is a great way to spend a day exploring the NC coast! Adventure on a short ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to Southport and enjoy wonderful food and shopping. Make sure to stop at favorite, Provision Company for some peel n eat shrimp!

Cheap entertainment to put your car on the ferry and travel 20 minutes to Soutport, NC. Bring bread and feed the seagulls along the way (but not overtop of your car - LOL).
